This statement applies to personal information collected by gasTrading Australia Pty Ltd (“gasTrading”).

Purpose

It is the usual practice for gasTrading to collect personal information directly from you for the purpose of providing timely information, and, or services (together the “services”) that you request. Personal information may be collected from publicly available sources such as websites, and telephone directories. Where personal information is not provided, gasTrading may not be able to deliver the requested services and, or, may reduce the timeliness of the service provision.

Collection

gasTrading does not collect personal information if you only browse this website, however, gasTrading may use aggregated data from Google Analytics gathered by cookies and site trackers for the purposes of evaluating website usage. Should you decide not to accept cookies, and, or to block the site tracker, you will still be able to browse the site, but your experience may not be optimal. Where you opt in to the invitation subscription service, gasTrading will ask for your consent. You can unsubscribe from the invitation subscription at any time. 

Usage

gasTrading will only use your personal information for the purposes for which you give it and for management purposes.

gasTrading does not disclose personal information about you to other organisations or to anyone else, unless:

• you consent to that disclosure;
• we are of the view that you would reasonably expect us to disclose the information;
• disclosure is required or authorised by law or an agency of government;
• disclosure will prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to life, health or property.

You may access the personal information that we hold about you or you can ask us to correct personal information we hold about you.

gasTrading does not disclose personal information to offshore organisations and utilises local information technology service providers where practical.
